oh no i might have over committed

Some how I have managed to sign up for three different game jams at the same time. Which I will say is a lot of game jams to be signed up for at the same time. The good news I will say is that for one of the jams I have already submitted a game to one of the jams. That was for You Cannot Play This TTRPG Jam and the character sheets for Will The Last One Leaving Please Power Cycle The System. Which I still need to make some sort of cover art for. Right now it's posted to itchio fully naked.

I even wrote a dev diary about the process of making the character sheets for the game that doesn't exist. It was a good time and if you're interested in the process check out the dev diary.

The next jam I signed up for is Romantasy TTRPG Jam which I will say that I have done the least amount of work on. I am working on something with Lirio however and I am very excited to work on it with them. I need to reach out because I was slacking last week in our shared document so we can figure out a game plan. We're working in Ellipsus which I love because shared word processing and easy exporting to markdown but I do wish it had the ability to do backups via something like Git so I could intergrade it into my Obsidian vault. Anyway back to Romantasy TTRPG Jam, the game is tentatively called "Of Monsters and Men". I think it's going to be a journaling game we're just trying to decide if its a duet or triadic journaling game because what is more Romantasy than a good triad?

The last game jam that I signed up for is one that I have also already started working on. That is TTRPG Character Creation Challenge Jam. I like many others who signed up for the jam are doing 31 characters in 31 days. I have already come up with information for 2 of the 31 characters which technically at the time of me writing this post puts me a little behind the curve but I'm not concerned just yet. I created a page for it on itchio which you can find here. Mostly it's because I want to keep a dev diary of the process. So far I've made one dev post which you can read here. This is another part of my working in public thing that I'm trying to get back into this year.

Speaking of working in public I have a separate blog(?) over on Offprint where I made my first (third) post "No Rest For The Weary | The Waystation Diner" in a similar vein but different to the 31 characters in 31 days for TTRPG Character Creation Challenge Jam I'm sharing the various character and location description that I use to build various writing projects that I have. I'm not exactly sure where I'm going with this but I'm hoping that just writing more in general and sharing it out into the world will return me to my younger years ability to just write and post things. I'm feeling pretty good about it so far.

I still want to go through my old Livejournal and do more annotation post. Maybe even look at some of the things that I wrote back then and rewrite them with a more advanced skillset that I've cultivated. If I did do a rewrite the final will end up over on Offprint. The annotated walk through will be here. I will be sure to keep the cross links up to date if and when the time comes.

Also if you saw the post about a day in the life vlog no you didnt.
